Journalistic Standards and Code of Conduct

Our Journalistic Standards and Code of Conduct for Student Journalists outline key principles for ethical reporting, including accuracy, fairness, accountability, and respect. It emphasizes the importance of verified sourcing, transparency, sensitivity in covering sensitive topics, and professionalism both in the field and on social media. The code promotes diversity and inclusion, ensures privacy, and provides guidance on handling conflicts of interest and controversies. Youth journalists are expected to uphold these values to maintain credibility and integrity in their work.
